Just arrived...

I tried to shoot a few videos so you guys can hear how it sounds. The sound is supposed to be a lot deeper than what you hear here. Pls note this is only after driving with it for 100 km. It might still get louder after some time.

First video is inside the car with windows up.
Second video is inside the car with windows down.
No droning!

3D/Arqray. Finishing is top notch. The Japanese are really very meticulous in everything they do.

In a few hours, I'll know if there's droning and noticeable loss of low end torque. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Yep

I'll know in a few hours if it was worth it.

Of all the quad conversions in the market, this was the only one with an extra muffler. Also the main muffler's orientation is sideways like the stock one. I guess if it was straight through, you lose quite a bit of back pressure.

Drove the car for an hour last night and another hour this morning. I can't hear any droning. My wife never noticed I changed the exhaust.

As for low end torque, I didn't notice any change. Tried to drive uphill a few times last night and it seems the same.

Will have test it more over the weekend.

Exhaust is a tad louder than last night so I guess it will still take time to fully break it in. At start up, a low rumble. During idling, can't hear anything. 1000-1500 rpm barely audible. 2000-3000 rpm is the sweet spot. Nice low rumble. Above 3000 rpm and the engine sound takes over (at least this is what I hear from inside the car). Not sure when I'm outside which one is louder, engine or exhaust. I'll try to take pics and a video clip over the weekend.

Overall, I would say the 3D exhaust is money well spent. Plus I got a gift from 3D

No picture of your car after installation? Must look real nice.

Come to realize that I don't like loud cars but prefers hifi audio nowadays..... Signs that I am getting old......

If you like hifi for your car, try dynaudio speakers. Had them before and they're awesome. You can also try audison amps. They work well with dynaudio.

I went to check out hifi stuff in cwb and man, some of the speakers cost millions. I'm beginning to suspect if I open up the speaker, I'll see gold inside.

Sweet for you jxnco bro. Shall I make a switch? Just kidding.

My quad got louder over time. Yours probably will kick in after. Stay tuned.

Stereo is another crazy mod item. One can buy an apartment with the spending.

Nice key fob holder BTW. I tried to ask my wifey to copy this one with her custom made. But it was too late when I show her the photo, she already trimmed out the leather.

Switch? Why not? I'm sure there's a lot of guys here who would want to get your Hamann's. But I think you like the droning sound so it won't be worth it for you. And I don't know if slight improvement in low end torque means much to you. I actually want it to get slightly louder over time but hopefully not too much. Right now, with windows closed and radio off, I can barely hear it. And no vibrations by the way. The noise level I described a while ago is with sunroof open and radio off. So I guess it can get a little louder for me and it will still be tolerable.

We should meet up maybe next weekend so we can compare. You can also see the CBI's and compare it with stock bulbs.

Your wife makes good key fobs btw. You should have a different one each day to match your shoes or your watch.

I was tempted by the A7 as well! But the rear is no where as comfortable as the F10 IMHO
