New F10 Owner
Hi guys- picked my 535 xdrive m sport a little over 2 weeks ago. While new to the F10 Chassis my previous car was an 09 E90 that i babied for the last 4 years. Anyway, here a few pics of both. recent mods to the F10 include:
dual slat kidney grills painted reflectors wrapped side marker ACS Springs tint question for everyone running ACS springs, do any of you rub on stock wheels with no spacers up front? only had the springs in a few days but i feel like the fronts rub slightly when turning into/out of inclined driveways trying to figure out if my front end sits lower than most. I was trying to avoid dropping the car too low as with my previous vehicles and now i'm worried I'm going rub with new wheel set up I have a set of 20x8.5/10 Avant Garde M615's in frozen latte on order with 245/35 and 285/30. offsets are et30 (F) and et38 (R). any comments welcome. apologies for the crappy iphone pics of the F10. will get some proper ones up when the wheels arrive in 2 weeks. old ride old and new after spring install |

Congrats on the new pickup! surprised you're rubbing with the ACS springs as those springs are the mildest drop. i would check to see if the previous owner had spacers on there already?

Thanks! I went with ACS because I wanted a mild drop so the rubbing is surparing to me as well. There are no spacers on the car now and the front wheels look pretty tucked in which makes it even more surprising. It's really going in/out of steep driveways that I notice it and it's pretty mild. |

could the shocks be blown? wait, if that was the case your shop who installed your springs should have told you that unless they forgot? dunno but you're the first out of all the ACS guys who have posted here regarding their new springs ever to talk or mention rubbing issues...unless your drive way is ridiculously STEEP!

The drop at the front wheels appears considerably more than the rear. Is that normal for ACS?
Maybe you just need 20's :/
