Hi,

is it possible to use used tires on the front and new on the rear?
Or should all 4 tyres be changed at the same time to avoid damages on x-drive?

Both are in the same league

At least in my experience, I prefer Bridgestone T005 over Michelin P4

T005 is very quiet and smooth

to my knowledge BMW recommends the difference in wear to be max 2 mm in between the 4 tires for xdrive. Moreover, is better to be same brand, model and size to avoid weight and road behavior differences to compromise xdrive.

As for the brand recommendation I would go for Michelin. Primacy 4 is especially well rounded if you do not have racing inclinations.

Bridgestone Turanza T005 and Michelin Primacy MXV4 have excellent traction control, wet road handling, and a high braking rate. The Bridgestone Turanza T005 is a tire designed to offer a quiet ride. It is made to reduce both exterior and interior noise. The Michelin primacy 4 also can reduce exterior noise, but it could do better at reducing interior noise. Besides that, The Michelin Primacy 4 has a much better damp handling rating than the Turanza T005 at 89% vs. 77%, respectively, and a better cornering rating at 85% vs. 83%, respectively.

I recommend the Michelin Primacy 4. I can confirm based on use that they are very good on wet road.
