YouTube works
I just found out I can play YouTube, stored movies and photo slide shows. I also got the DVDinMotion software and here are the results.

I got it to play on the big screen I don't know what you call that. Just plug and play but the car has to be parked. YouTube is a bit tricky what you do is play a video from your iPhone like a movie or a stored video song which your car shouldn't have a problem playing and then pause it, and go to YouTube and play and it'll work. Name thing with the pictures slide show. Now do you know a good kit to play movies while driving. It'll be nice to drive and have a picture slide show with the music

Yeah that is the CIC.
Sounds like it may distract you from your safe driving but look up http://www.dvdinmotion.com/ They build a DVD specific to your VIN and send it to you and all you need to do is insert it into your drive, let it recode your system and eject it. Thats it! It sounds like the best solution since it is reversible, you insert it again and your car is back to its original coding. You may search the forum and find many members who ordered and are very happy with it.

I'm not entirely sure if that would also work on the 6NR/6NF options but its worth a shot.

mmm there's no real updates yet lol. I just sent someone to buy me a blank cd so I can burn the softwear on it. I'm getting out of work in about 4 hours and I have my ipad with me so if it works I'll just upload the video right away for you to see.

Thanks for the confirmation and the video, that was very helpful. Can you try doing the same without the media cradle, so the iPhone is connected directly through the Apple cable? Does it still work?

IT DOESN'T WORK. Only sound comes out, I was surprised and I really wanted to stop using that cradle because it's not very convenient and you eventually I got sick of taking the case off of my phone everytime I wanna use it so I stopped using the case period and eneded up with a broken screen and a beat up looking phone... eeehhh fuck it, it's worth it...
