Thanks for posting my warranty is expiring in June and I have 3k to go before BMW will replace sparkplugs. No worries even if they don't replace I can do this its simple.

I went 2 steps colder.. Since I have JB4 and Catless DP I was getting an engine malfunction at full boost. So i did the OEM equivalent replacement for the S55 (F80 M3) Plugs. No more Engine Malfunctions!

What is torque spec for the plugs? Also did you use any anti seize on the new plugs?

23nm, I used barely any on each

How does the Dinan work in conjunction with the JB4? i've got Stage 2 on my 2012 N63 and have thought about adding a JB4. didnt know if it worked in conjunction with the Dinan flash.

oh....and thanx for posting this vid. i'm changing my plugs, this weekend.

@m3gasm. I'm attempting to replace the spark plugs myself next weekend when i get back from my travels for my 2011 550xi, but would like to know if 6 of the 8 spark plug locations are easily accessible (except for the 2 you've identified in the video)?

m3gasm I'm have the same mods as you and keep getting drivetrain Malfunction on full boost. I'm planning on doing the NGK 97506, what did you gap the spark plug to? Anyone have any recommendations on what gap to put on the NGK 97506?

I have seen some say 0.018 and 0.020 but I have always kept mine at 0.022.

I have my ngk plugs at .025, but plan to drop to .022 soon
