N55 Tune

I wanted to get a tune for my 2015 535i xDrive. I wanted to know if anyone has came out with something that goes in the OBD. This would be amazing. Before everyone says just get a JB4 or Cobb. I already know of these things. just want to know if there is anything out there that i can just plug and play into the OBD. Thanks.

The general consensus seems to be BMS being the best choice for simplicity and money vs performance gain.

I'm interested in getting a JB4. But the only problem is. Every time that I am about to pull the trigger on buying one, something comes up. I mean having 2 kids and being married isnt cheap lol. But on a lighter note. Within the next month or so I'm planning on getting some things done. ( wraping roof and trim gloss black, Tint, Rear Defuser, Tune, Intake, Muffler delete.) I would imagine the roof and trim would be around $200, tint would be $175, intake and muffler delete about $250 and the JB4 ive seen them used for $250-$300. So for around $900 my car would look and feel sick.

The intake alone is gonna run u $200 for a bms... more if u go with an AFE. The muffler delete alone is gonna cost u more than $50 bucks which doesn't include single or quad tips? So $250 is not even close Unless u find some deals in the classifieds here.

Definitely post some pictures when u here the roof and window trim done!

Buying a used JB4 will void your BMS warranty.
You are risking damaging your 5K ECU to save $200.
I would just get a brand new one.

By the way BMS are working on an OBD solution for the JB4.

I have a lease and I have the code eraser. So to be honest. If something breaks I don't have to pay anything lol

No this is still a piggy.
The OBD is used to get rid of the POSI-tap wires and for more features ( Gauge Hijack)
