Best car I've ever had!
So, I bought this car around last June. My apologies for not introducing myself, or posting pics, but it is a 2013 Carbon Black 535 M-Sport w/704 transmission nicely loaded with everything but drivers assist, very clean, one owner CPO that had 34k miles when I bought it. Have driven it to the East Coast and back twice now from St. Louis.
I feel I know this car pretty well now. I'm 55 years old. I have owned many cars, and have driven a lot more, not to mention all of the bikes. Granted, I have never owned a Porsche, Mercedes, BMW, Jag, or anything else in this genre to really compare. I've always been into very fast (modified) cars and fast bikes. Again, never owned any of the abovebut have driven some of them. That said, I feel confident that I am a Bimmer for life now. I absolutely love this car! You can feel the advanced engineering about it in just about every situation, from long duration drives, to emergency maneuvers, which the latter real really surprise you. I've had two close calls where this 'supposedly heavy' beast handled like a I was on a sport bike. No kidding. I have no idea how they can make a suspension so adept. I am amazed with this car! edit: This was the day I drove it home. The only mods since are dual-slat gloss black kidney grills and Sprint Booster. Last edited by S1ammin; 02-14-2017 at 08:48 AM.. Yep. I feel that you have to own multiple cars/brands throughout the years to really appreciate how bimmers drive and feel. I went through a few Japanese imports, Lexus, MB, then finally a BMW and it blows the competition away....for now I guess. That's why I feel sorry for the 18yr old kids that have these F10's as their rich kid gift from mom and pops. Ok, maybe a little envious too because I had a crappy hoopty at that age.

The 5 is an amazing car!! I just bought a 991 Carrera S and must say I still love getting behind the wheel of my F10, the comfort and refinement is just amazing, such a great car!

Learn how to use a buffer --- bit of a learning curve but easy to get rid of those swirls once you get the hang of it. I have Carbon black and after a year, I couldn't stand it anymore. Lots of youtube type instructions (and then just practiced on my wife's car).
