Low speed steering grinding noise

The car is making a horrible grinding noise when i turn the wheel to turn at low speed. Any Input would be appreciated from the experienced bmw owners in this forum on what to do.
My car is a new 525d Msport. I noticed this is more apparent when the weather is cold below 10*. It's like a groan/grinding noise and can feel it slightly in the steering too.

Could be anything. Axles can have cv boots torn loosing grease not lubricating properly. Can you post a video? Or pictures around the wheel hub/wheel.

Ok thanks for you response. I will do that as soon as I can. You could be right as this only happens when the temperatures plummet like we are experiencing now and through winter
