Is RTTI possible without Connected Drive subscription?
The Connected Drive on my new 2014 F11 has expired but I would like to have RTTI for my Pro Nav enabled. Is this possible without first reactivating (and paying for) Connected Drive?
Thanks |

Difficult to give a specific answer because over the years and models things have changed with ConnectedDrive. Suggest you get get your car registered with a ConnectedDrive account and then you can find out exactly what you need to pay for and what you don't. With my 2015 F10, after the 1st 3 years subscription for everything had expired, I was able to purchase RTTI for £40 a year without paying for anything else.

On a 2014 car, yes, it should be perfectly feasible to get the RTTI without Connecteddrive.
Sign up for a connecteddrive account at https://www.bmw-connecteddrive.co.uk...x.html#/portal You should then see the options available to you. |

Thanks both. I will do as you suggest and register. Or at least I will when the page starts working again, it seems to be down right now. This is what is shown at the top of the page right now
"You can get information about all BMW ConnectedDrive services. Please try to log in or register again later." And the Registration button is inactive. Thanks again |

Having had ConnectedDrive in 4 different BMWs for about a decade, I can tell you that one of its free of charge features is that it can also be DisconnectedDrive, for all sorts of reasons. These include 2G or if you're lucky 3G SIMS in the car (even for 2016 models), frequent server outages, and in car SIM-related problems. I've had reception issues even when in the middle of Manchester.
