it's not bad. but real talk, I just ordered a set that is supposedly real CF. Love the look of these, but not digging the idea of people eventually asking if it's real CF or not. All my other CF stuff is legit, even though not exactly top quality.

I don't currently have any CF on the car. I didn't get the black as I was worried about the fading factor. But given that I have the OE black pillars, and the mirror base is black, black covers might look better.

The issue with black is that if it's not the same kind of black, it really stands out. Its like wearing a suit with black pants and a ever-so-slightly not as black suit jacket.

The gloss black will probably match nearly perfectly when new, but I have no idea how these are painted (single stage vs multi stage paint process) and so am a little sketched by how the paint will hold up. These are definitely made in China with probably little to no quality control. If they start fading/oxidizing, it looks like absolute shit.

The faux CF is a little easier to deal with, since if the clear starts yellowing/oxidizing, you can just sand that shit down and just apply some more clear. There's no paint to actually deal with.

They absolutely look great! The shape flows with our cars really well. I just don't like the fact that if you look fairly close, you can tell the CF is fake. I'm not mad at it for being fake, they were only $40 after all. Hoping the "real" CF ones I ordered have the same great fit!

I did. found a set for $92. I'm sure it'll be low quality CF for that price, but willing to take a chance to keep it consistent with my other stuff.

Nah. I'd rather look at gloss black than the weirdly patterned CF sticker that bunches up on the inside of the wing. I hate staring at that when I drive.

here's mine. lol I never paid attention to this but it doesn't bother me at all. I just think it's cool how it looks like a winglet and I can close my mirrors now

Your pattern isn't as crazy as mine is on my driver side. But again, definitely not hating on it for the price paid, but I'm OCD about things like that... patterns should be uniform.
