Silly dyno question

Good morning!

Going to the dyno next month. I tried asking this in the F10 facebook group and all I got was 1 like lol.

Back in my old '00 E46 all I had to do to dyno it was turn off traction control and all was good in the world. Is it the same on the F10? Thanks!

You have to put the car in Dyno mode I believe. There is mileage reset button on the dash and if you hold it for 30 seconds you get menu with additional options. This is where it might be... I know this is where you go to reset bunch of other service related items.

Im hitting up the dyno 3 weeks from now so I'm excited. Have not visited a dyno since 8 years ago and 3 cars ago

Lol... Are you just running a tune or bigger turbo? What is your setup?

Mods in my signature

But that aside on my next fill up I'm going to throw 2 gallons of E85 in there and change the JB4 map to the ethanol-friendly one. If I like it I'll dyno like this. If not then I'll stick to premium only

Well since you saw it, lol... I love them! very consistent even after repeated high-speed braking. SIGNIFICANTLY less dust than the stockers. At least the dust from these is silverish... not a dark brown/ black coating

Pretty sure dyno mode is to allow you to have hood open but many have simply gone on sport plus. I think cars with collision avoidance etc could be prob if you don't disable all assistance or put in dyno mode tho
