Bought a Race Chip

I bought a 2016 535d over the summer and told myself I wasn’t going to modify this vehicle. Well that’s didn’t last long. Third vehicle I have owned with a tune and this was the easiest. I bought the GTS option, installed it in 20 minutes, left it on the factory setting, huge boost in power, and my mileage is going up.

Post a video! Any exhaust note difference?

Nope, exhaust sounds the same and the engine is just as quiet. It has 7 modes, I just left it on 5 which is the factory setting. Definitely a lot more pull for the money

How much of an increase in MPGs are you seeing?

Bought it straight from Racechip.com, it looks like I have a 2MPG gain.

Yes, prior to this I drove a SVT Lightning that I had custom tuned, I was impressed the power gain on the RaceChip considering it is a canned tune.

Just ordered mine today. One down as I didn't need all 7 maps and this is my first foray into programming myself. I'm reading up more and more and a novice such as myself should be able to handle the install.

Any issues or errors you've run into? I've seen some negative reviews mostly positive.

You will not do any programing. Its just a blackbox with all preprogramed for you

I haven't had any issues, most intense part is removing the engine cover.......
