My brushed Gunmetal vinyl wrap

I got tired of the fine-wood trim ash grain in the car. Time to change, first I tried the 3M Di-Noc matte carbon fibre, was not bad and it definitely made the car better looking than the original.
I decided to try Vvivid vinyl brushed gunmetal, it looked better and sleeker than the carbon fibre.

If I was to do it over again, which I might, I will use the 3M product. It is easier to set, especially on the center console.

I find the Vvivid need more heat to have it conform the tricky shape surfaces. This could be that this is my first time doing this and probably need some guidance.

Anyway I like the outcome although not perfect, but it is so much better.

My God... that looks ABSOLUTELY amazing!!! I might have to look into this myself. I convinced my wife to help me do some shadowline trim for the exterior... maybe interior vinyl is next!

very nice! been meaning to do mine but always like the woodgrain color since it matches the cinnamon interior of my car.

definitely get the shadowtrim done as it was one of the first mods I did to my car. I even used the leftover pieces to do the front reflector, door trim and front fog lamp trim

lsturbointeg you are actually the reason why I chose this!! I was reading your build thread the other night, and saw your comment about the trim vinyl. I checked out the site and showed my wife who is SUPER crafty with that kind of stuff.

my opinion: it was a classic example of why this forum exists... sharing knowledge and methods across our shared habit.

Thanks again!!

There are other colors that probably match your interior color.
