First time diy valve cover gasket fix

Hey guys, I changed my valve cover gasket couple days ago. Problem is the first time I did it the oil was seeping on the rear passenger side on to the exhaust. After many hours I put in a new genuine gasket with some Permatex and there are no leaks. My concern is there is white smoke coming from the oil that seeped on to the exhaust and I am not sure if this is dangerous to drive. My guess is it leaked about a quart of oil, give or take... Its a little too far down to reach with a rag so I thought about shooting some break clean and leave it overnight. Any thoughts?

Spray brake cleaner then check the underside of your car. Wipe all of the liquid that will drip down there. Try not to let it get on plastic. There is a chance you will still see smoke when driving. It will burn out and will be okay after a while.
