Running-in procedures for 520d?
Hi there, is there a thread here that covers the correct running in procedures for diesel engines? I'm getting my 520 soon and wanted to treat it properly!!

Thanks for that. I guess BMW would do some kind of run-in at the engine plant/assembly plant.

i get the car hopefully on april 24th ... off to germany on a driving holiday on May 4th ...
My running in process will be trying to keep up with my mates 911 GT3!

He he... looks like you won't be following a run-in procedure at all then! I bet its 10 secs before you exceed 3,500rpm! Or else get 1,250 miles under your belt between when you pick the car up and when you go to Germany
