Hi

I have been trying to get my PWG PS2 tuned for +1 year now. Wasted a lot of time with Twisted. Now engaged with tuner 2 and 3 producing somewhat ok results but nothing close to what I see in your logs. Primary problem seems to be WG control.

What is your setup since you run upgraded LPFP? I saw your V3.2 log and it looks amazing compared to mine!

Funny enough I believe he did the stock turbo PWG OTS for MHD - and they work fine as far as I know.
Damn that sucks but if it's any consolation I've been through several tuners too. The end of the day we have to accept that the F10 PWG N55 DME is not as capable as it's sibling F30 PWG N55 variant. The N55 is already a challenging tuning platform. The best results I've had so far has been with Mission and DShoup.

With TwistedTuning... He gave me run around after he couldn't figure out how to tune the car. Basically, won't answer to any of my questions and would send an update once every 2 to 3 weeks. I got tired of that and wanted my car working good. That is when I found David Shoup and he has finally made me a 93 oct map that works perfect for my car.

For setup I am running;
PS2 with custom inlet, LPFP Stage 2 (did the diy), k&n Aircharger intake, VRSF Chargepipe, VRSF downpipe, VRSF intercooler, dv+, MPE.exhaust. I have my sparkplugs gapped to .018 but will be changing that to .022 per David Shoup recommendation.

I am running 3 gallons of e85 as well. David already sent me v.3.3 to up the boost at higher end but been too lazy recently lol.

Update:

David Shoup and I will be getting together for 2 to 3 hour session on the dyno to complete the tune with current setup. I will post updates and dyno results for you guys... It could be 2 to 3 weeks from now as I need to find out when there is a time slot available at the dyno near me. Plus I need to get my spark plugs gapped from .018 to .022.

I am hoping with current setup at least 420-430whp maybe wishful thinking of 450whp lol, but I am xDrive, so I am not sure how bad the power loss is specially on first gen F10 5 series. I have driven my friend's 535i PWG 2014 xDrive stock and it felt better at power delivery. Could be because he had m sport package with sport and sport+ options, so I am hoping xHP mitigate that issue.

I read somewhere on a forum where pure stated 17psi is 400-430whp I guess depending on what type of timing you running.

I have seen n55's with e30, custom tune and FBO hit 400whp, I would be thinking you'd be closer to 500.

On F30's 500whp is possible, F10's N55 is a different ECU. I'm not dyno'd, but so far I'm between 420-430whp on e50 22 PSI. I'm PWG so maybe a EWG can see 450-460whp on the same PSI because of the 4" DP

500whp on a PWG might be possible on a F10 N55 with 25-30 PSI. $howtime456 is a different beast.

How are you getting 400whp? If you talking about sport dash that is not whp number. Even MHD's posted numbers are crank numbers not WHP.

If that is true then I am disappointed and should have sold this car. But you can't be certain until really dyno the car? Or you doing the calculation based on torque actual clutch? According to my research that number might not be true representation of actual torque the car might be producing.

475 should be on just 93 pump. Thats what i dynoed at on 20psi. 500 is easily acheivable with these motors. Just need the proper ingredients.

My car has its unique problems that don't necessarily represent all F10's. Like showtime says you can reach it with the right ingredients.

F10 M5's are looking real good and the price range is prime rn.

The sound is so much better without the resonator in my opinion!
