Wanted to see if anyone regularly maintains their leather dash to prevent from the horrid bubbling and glue separation? My dash is starting to show signs of this and thought the least I could do is to park in the garage, get a sunshade when I have to park outside for extended periods of time and hydrate the leather with a leather conditioner or treatment every-so-often. I was thinking of buying some leather conditioner, like what you would use on really nice leather furniture because I feel like the automotive leather conditioners/protectants just don't cut it...

The issue with these dashboards failing isn't conditioning the surface of the leather, it is the adhesive used to glue the leather to the dashboard surface. Not many easy options and it really depends on where and how badly the glue has started to fail. Your best bet as you said was to avoid sunlight and heat.
