So the real question here. Does anyone know if you will be able to get a LCI 550i in 6 speed manual?

Only thing that matters is the steering changes. Ow minor update. Interior looks lovely. Unfortunately can't change the bloated curb weight and 116" wheelbase.

Did anyone notice how there's two extra buttons on the seat above the lumbar support? Are they bringing the side bolsters back?
Sigh. Good time to upgrade now. |

The multi contour seats/comfort seats here in Europe has the adjustable side bolsters on the pre-LCI too.

I agree. Aesthetically, there was never a problem. BMW could throw all the luxury/tech features on but ultimately the F10 is going to be judged by the poor steering pre-LCI. Hopefully the LCI changes that.

Big wins in my opinion are:
- LED headlights - B&O stereo - iDrive with touch controller Those make it a win in my opinion.

BMW should NOT have increased the price. the navigation should be standard on a car like 5 series. for an executive sedan, wouldn't you expect Navi when you sit your ass in the car? so WTF BMW!!!
and why no update to the N55 engine. not even a power bump!!! when will the N55 be phased out? we need more power

Actually, BMW has moved the turn signals to the side view mirror housing across its range because of European laws going to effect soon that requires all vehicles sold in the EU to have turn signals in the mirror housing. BMW was the only manufacturer in Europe that still had them on the fenders.

Looks cheap, and reflects a poor cost-savings attitude on BMW's part for the world to see.

No Launch control in 5 series automatic unfortunately. Only in 1,3 and 6 series with 8 speed automatic transmission. Why?

Not really dying for the new exterior - the extra lines in the front and rear bumper are superfluous.
LED headlight option for all models is cool. E-class facelift interests me more, but perhaps because I don't have one. Also, prefer the old tailights, 3 lines is too much, like the 7. |
