I guess I'm not as interested in whatever color Jatoba is, now. Order guide says it's not available with M-sport. I would like to know what color is that dark brown interior in the press shots? Cinnamon? Doesn't seem red enough. Amaro Brown Extended? Looks like any extended leather requires the $6K ZL1 Individual package. Pricey. |

I assumed the grey cars released in the PR are showing the new colors where possible. So the grey is Calisto, the cream is Mineral White, the silver is glacier and the dark brown interior is Mocha |

I find the 2014 packaging and pricing makes the GT less attractive. You can't get Nappa, Oyster, or Mocha colors unless you spend $2100 on a "Line". ALso, Dark Wood is the ONLY trim offered without a "Line". That plus the $2K higher base price quickly puts the same 2013 configuration quite a bit higher for less of a car.

I'm hoping that it's Mocha Nappa that seems to be available with M-sport.

I guess I'm the only one who likes the "Lines". It's a very smart way for BMW to try and almost force people to be individual with these cars. With BMW's approach to gain more mass, they know in order to keep things interesting, fresh and "Premium" on the roads, they need their cars to look uniquely equipped from one another, to avoid that "Fleet look", to make it appear like drivers are all passionate enthusiasts who want to spend time and tailor their cars to themselves.
As a driver of one of these cars, I'll enjoy seeing less boring "common" setups. Our M Sports will stand out more, the Luxury Lines will stand out from the rest, the "Modern", and then the ones who want to just "blend in" can get the no-Package look. Perfect, IMO.

Anyone notice that 416 is both the power rear/side sunshade option and Carbon Black Metallic exterior color?
Also, the description for 416 in the F07 section implies a rear sunshade which would be new to the GT if true. |

No black nappa leather for M-Sport
Also noticed that LED Fog lamps are included with the M-Sport now. So the front facia will be changing slightly. I was digging around the BMW.de site and found the german price list. See the attached image of the M-Sport shown in their price list. Apparently they are adding the ///M to the side fender below the old turn signal. The German version also has an Alcantara interior which is not offered in the states. |

When can we build it online?
Anyone have any idea's how soon you could build a car online? I'm guessing June 1 since my dealer told me that they stop production on 2013's in June.
Would really like to see the color options etc. as I build it out. Looks like I'll be ordering a 2014 now. |

Considering it was an option all along for the M Sport it seems hard to believe they are taking it away. I was planning on ordering it with Carbon Black exterior.

Am I understanding this correctly? the only way to get high-performance tires on 550i is to get M sport and then add $840 ? (page 13)

M Sport cars get an one of those little "M" badges on the fenders. I'm assuming it's lots of pre-LCI drivers will stick some on as well.
It's official then, that BMW is actually badging the body with an ///M, as before the badging was all interior and wheels. I guess I don't have to feel guilty about my ///M license plate frame then.

I can imagine that. I wonder what they'll put in that "place" then. Simply the word "Sport"? Reminds me of 90's designations. I hate seeing BMW cheesily compromise design aspects because they're too cheap to restamp a fender.
BTW, anyone else iffy on that new, ultra thin almost dainty looking M steering wheel? I'm sure the rim will be at least just as "phat" but not sure how the actual design fits with the look of the F10's interior. It looks pretty cool in an interesting way, but also kind of cheap....
