The Jb4 is the best piggyback

Active Autowerke is the best flash tune in terms of power out of the box

Bootmod3 is the best flash tune overall

there is no best tune, depends on what are you are looking for. You cant go wrong with these 3

It's called trading it in for a F10 with a real engine.

The N20 is a terrrrrrriiiiibbbbbllllleeee engine. It's a fragile, buzzy, rattly, noisy little turd and simply not up to the task of motivating the F10 chassis to get out of its own way.

535i is a bare minimum, 550i if you can swing it, M5 if you're serious about getting down and rolling out.

Maybe so, but putting a fragile bmw v8 that constantly breaks into a cruiser doesn’t magically transform it into a performance monster. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black, the s63tu is no reliability champ either. The f10 is like the 400lbs man who tries to do ballet, but with a v8 that keeps having heart atttacks.. It can be done but won’t be pretty, as the audience watches in horror as it keel over on its last dance. There is more to a sporting experience than just power. Aka, buying an xdrive 550i with a tune, can put the power down vs rear drive only m5

With that said. The guy wants some more pep from his car and that something we can all get on board with. This car is a Luxurious boat, and trying to make it a sports car is not really it’s thing. It’s more German Hellcat than 911.

If you want a sporty /fun bmw and are in the market to trade the last one was the e90. Get the 335i/d. To me the f10 was the first of the new generation of soft mainstream bmw. Leave the f10 alone and enjoy it for what it is and don’t be afraid to add a mild tune, to pep up it’s acceleration. I’ve tuned all of my recent cars and always enjoyed it.

For some of us the 3 Series is too small...

Sure, I get that people want larger cars countries where larger, straight roads and parking spaces can accommodate that. No issues with that, the pickup is an example of trying to build the biggest possible vehicle that will fit in most Costco parking spaces.

My point I made poorly is that the last good driving bmw was the e90, the current 3 series is well Camry like and so Is the f10. I’ve never driven an e60, but in general bmw isn’t building ultimate driving machine sedans anymore. They’re luxurious cars with some sport, more ultimate wafting machine. I was just recommending if fun to drive was a priority buy an e90

Hi, Number one priority is reliability.

Warranty i dont care about because its out of the CPO anyways.

Number two is power...

I have a downpipe, intake and Remus exhaust (from you guys).. Which one is the best with mods..

Note: I am not a huge fan of tuning and map switching for racing, but if i had the choice it would be nice as well.
