Do I need shocks?

I put H&R springs on my 14 msport and every time I hit bump I hear something rattle. Not sure what it is? Is that normal. Everything is tight.

Make sure this plate is lot loose

This will make the car sound like your entire suspension is just about to come off.

I check mine up on every tire rotation or brake change.

Checked the plates and they are tight. Took it to firestone and they said I didn't pressurize the shocks by having someone stand on the car while tightening the top hat.

But I still have the rattle. Going to check the back because I don't think they did those but it sounds like it's coming from the front.

Took the car to Brake Plus to look at it and they found a bumper support broken. Still have a clacking sound from the driver side front. Has anyone had this????

I'm out of 270.00 for a 20.00 part and still have the problem.

it could be anything really. I would get back underneath and start physically checking everything. retorque everything, double check anything that would cause the clanking

Check the Nut on the shaft of the strut. The one that keeps it attached to the Top Hat, it is likely you did not tighten the nut enough.

Who did your install? What method did you use to secure the nut to the top hat?

Great point... changed the drivers side and have the passenger side on order. It was pretty loose. Also reseated the brake anti rattle clips and no noises whatsoever! Happy camper now.
