Any progress so far after ordering the remanned Valve Body?

Also curious. 2011 535i has issues slamming into 1st and also 2-3 and 3-4 upshifts. But is sporadic. Seems to be worse when hot.

I really don't know what to do. Indy shop says no codes. But its getting ridiculous.

After driving with the new valve body for a few months the symptoms have improved quite a bit but problems remain. Driving in comfort mode is 90% normal, sport mode is better but still shifts harsh most of the time. Shudder at stop is less frequent but still happens. Under hard acceleration it feels like a clutch is slipping and catching. ZF has recommended a new transmission, which is actually easy to do... if you have a lift, which I don't. It's such a disappointment, the car has 60k miles on it and it's in great condition. It's worth <20k at this point and I'm not inclined to keep throwing money at it.

Thanks for the update; very sorry to hear that.

The used car market is freaking brutal right night though -- mostly over priced trash. I'd suggest reconsidering putting a different transmission in it. Maybe a repair shop can source a used low mileage one, for you. Just food for thought.
