Comfort Access Screw Fell out
Hello everyone, So I was doing a comfort access door handle replacement and I loosened up the torx screw that was holding up the handle, however when I was wiggling the handle out it knocked the screw out and fell into the door, fast forward I got the screw out and I asked my mechanic what would happen if the screw came completely off, he said that the door has to be taken apart because something plastic of sort was holding the screw in. My question that can I just simply put the torx screw back in? was my Mechanic bsing about something holding the torx. has anyone dropped this screw before?

No, The screw that holds in the comfort access door handle, its a small Torx 15. The same screw you loosen it to take the handle out to switch out the CA handle.
