Performance Exhaust Mod for F10 535i

Hi everyone. I know the PE mod is very common on other chassis (E9X, E8X, F2x etc etc.)

But, no one appears to have done it on an f10 535i that I can find. Has anyone attempted this - and how did it go? If I can find information on the best place to cut into the muffler, sound results, pics etc of inside the muffler that would be great. I'm hoping it's just a perforated pipe inside with some fiberglass packing that can be removed and the perforations can be welded up?

Main reason being is pre made catbacks for this car aren't terribly common - and usually rather expensive.

Surely someone's done it!!

Cheers

Unfortunately not… I don’t really feel like opening up my mufflers if it’s beyond my skill level so I might experiment with some generic mufflers

I've got the MPE installed on my 535i. My indy mechanic did it, there's indentations on the factory piping indicating where the exhaust needs to be cut. After that, it's a simple clamp and the install is done. It is possible to DIY, but I don't have the tools so just asked my indy mech for help since I'm on super good terms with him.
