Hello i upgrade to nivi3 from nivi 2 i change the wires and plugs .. fore moment i have emulator i just want to check that it works before patch it only starts fore 1 second … and also i need some one to do remote the patch …

I had nivi 3 with dynamic spot light retrofit by Evan Goyuk from youtube, and he wired it and coded it properly but it seems like the dynamic spot light doesnt work, i mean they are always on but i never seen it strobe light anything. Have you seen it work and under what conditions?

I got nivi 3 to work without an emulator on my f10, evan goyuk coded and installed it for me in MA, USA

How's your retrofit coming along?

I had Evan Goyuk install it for me on 2016 550 with dynamic spot light, and he did it on his car too (minus the dynamic spot light).

I know bro …. But in not in USA i am from europe and i need to buy FSC fore it .. or someone to go remote and patch mine in the car …

Have you got these to work correctly yet? I'm thinking of doing this mod on my individiual F10 and concerned whether it's actually doable stateside or its vin locked like the GFHB feature...

I had NIVI 3 in my G30 series , manufacturer fitted without GZA but adaptive LED, had a flashing light towards human and animals.In my new G06 (ID7) pre LCI NIVI was not available, only option was to retrofit, it is done with can emulator , and spot light works with laser lights, No functionality difference between G30 (manufacture fitted) and G06 with retrofit.

I had night vision 3 with dynamic spot light retrofitted on my 2016 bmw f10 without an emulator in Boston by Evan Goyuk, who can bypass the need for an emulator. He installed it for me and it works great! I have a parts list for night vision 3 if anyone needs it. The DSL function works on and off, its not really useful in the USA lol

The retrofit actually not that bad if anyone wants to retrofit without the DSL function as there is a G series repair kit you can use that connects the camera to ecu directly with a long HSD cable versus two harnesses and it has the cables to connect the ecu. I had it installed the oem way for my f10 with two bumper harnesses but for my m6 f06, i we used the G series official bmw night vision 3 repair kit (Part # 61118715449) with just one long hsd cable.

See attached for the parts i use nivi 3 with dsl + new air dam. Btw no emulator was used because evan knows how to code nivi 3 cameras to any ecu, new or used. We collaborated a lot in terms of knowledge over a few months and the break through was the G series repair kit which only works on nivi 3 btw

Great to know that the retrofit went well. My car already has NIVI3 and I've acquired the DSL fog lights and am about to order the connectors to make the harness with CAN3 connection. However, What I wanted to know is whether you've seen the spot light work to actually mark ppl/animals or are they just constantly on like fog lights even after coding? For cars with Nivi 3 AND DSL, the front fog light button is not present on the headlight switch (someone with this feature in Europe can correct me if I'm wrong). Like in this video :

Ive seen it flash deer 3 times but not like that demostration video

There is a DSL harness from BMW, it just needs to be modified once you order the part

Is it real to polish and restore F series nightvision camera at home? I have only fog there and no objects. New one costs too much for me

Just buy a new replacement lens on eBay for around $500
