what tyres for f10 535i xdrive 2013 year?
Hello, what tyres I need to buy for my 535i xdrive? It has rims style 351, it is vin code M. Can I use 245/40 for all wheels? One guy in garage said that you will brake it fast, better to use 245/40 front and 275/35 back. Can someone help? thanks a lot!

Good day, and welcome to this forum. Assuming you have a regular, non-staggered set of 19" 351M wheels, then going with 245/40/19 tires all around is a very good option as it matches the stock setup for most North American M-sport F10s. You can switch the rear tires to 275/35/19, but unless your rear wheels are wider than your front, it will look a little strange. More importantly, and I'm sure others will confirm or deny, I don't see you getting any real braking advantage with wider rear tires. Most of the stopping is done with the front tires, and wider rear tires might give you better traction for aggressive starts.
Having said that, I do believe most people who go with a staggered setup (as in wider tires in the rear) are doing it more for cosmetic reasons. Yes, there may be performance advantages, but unless you are really throwing your F10 around, you likely won't feel the advantages (and disadvantages). That's my two cents worth of advice. Cheers.

Hello and welcome, my summer set is exactly that. 245/40/R19 8,5J square. What’s the width of your wheels, are all 4 the same? Width is marked with J, so yours should be 8,5J or 9J, or even both if the set is staggered.
