F10 M5 Brakes on 528/535/550 ???
Just wondering about this. Its been confirmed that the OE brakes on the new F10 M5 is made by Brembo. Has anyone overseas tried retrofitting this onto a non-M car? If it fits, this could be a more cost effective way to get better braking out of the normal F10's since average Brembo BBK is going to run you around $4K while the M5 setup is about $2700 for pads, rotors and calipers.
Here's a quote i got from Tischer Bmw for the non ceramic M5 brakes Left Caliper 34117845747 $767.66 Right Caliper 34117845748 $767.66 Left Rotor 34112284101 $394.57 Right Rotor 34112284102 $394.57 Pads 34112284369 $346.10

Dayum! Good work..
Those look so good up close.. my brakes are squeaking like hell this may be a viable option If only somehow there was a way to borrow the rotor and see if it fit on our car.. |
