For me, the direct side on profile of specifically the front bumper area looks a bit funky. I prefer the G30's design in that response. But otherwise, not really.

I love the size too. G30 is only an inch longer but it seems like more. Test drove an F10 before buying a G30 and I loved it. Found out it had an engine replacement and passed on it.

The F10 just looks perfectly proportional to my eye. Nailed it! But it drives big, at least to me. Whenever I drive ours I long to be back on the E90! Don't know what direction we'll go in when we need to replace it in a few years. Probably to a G chassis, but not sure what variety

E90 and F10 are two of BMWs best looking sedans, in my biased opinion. I never mind driving my wife’s E90 - a GREAT driving car! My F10 does drive much heavier, but KW V3 suspension makes a WORLD of difference.

Here’s a rare occasion last summer when both were freshly washed at the same time:

It wasn't planned, but I get a kick out of the similar paint. TBH I was kind of bummed the X5 we found was white and not a metallic gray!

Confession: my wife really wanted a dark metallic grey 3-Series, they look fantastic! Unfortunately when shopping the used market, colour choices are often limited.

Our two cars are actually different colours; mine is Carbon Black, but in many lighting conditions (and often in photos), it can easily be confused for black. In fact, when I went to look at my 5 I thought I was going to see a black car. It was an overcast day, and under those conditions I didn’t immediately recognize the difference even when looking at it in person!

I think there are far too many black BWWs, especially considering the available palette of beautiful options. Having said that, a black BMW certainly looks incredible.
