Invoice Pricing LCI? What kind of deals are you getting?

Hey everyone... I will be ordering a 550xi LCI and was wondering what kind of deals you are all getting on the 2014's... also does anyone have the invoice pricing sheet? Thanks!

Invoice is typically 92% of the base MSRP plus 91% of MSRP for packages and options. Round to the nearest $5 and you should be within a few dollars. For my 2014 order that formula worked out exactly.
My 2014 535i came in at $1,000 under invoice including MACO and training - 8.8% under MSRP. On top of that, the Drivers Experience Coupon takes another 1k off the price, plus 1k loyalty.

Negotiated that msrp ... should be able to get around 8% off, as another member indicated above

I have a 2011 535xi currently ($1000 loyalty incentive on a 5 series for current BMW owners/leases)

I graduated a Master's Program within the last 12 months ($1000 Graduate incentive)

I am a member of the BMW Car Club of America - Each Member is entitled to a new car rebate per calendar year (must be a member for atleast 1 year ($1000 after taking delivery of vehicle)

Register for the Ultimate Drive Experience at any BMW dealer, and receive a $1000 incentive on a new BMW ... must take delivery before 10-31-13.

Looking to lease a 2014 535- MSRP is about $65.9K, contacted local dealer, right away got $62,195 as a sale price, with $1600 down and with all fees and taxes in (6.5%) payment is $928/mo
I would appreciate any comments! I did register for Ultimate Driving event so may able to get another $1k off...

We must have very similar configurations because that's exactly my MSRP.
That Dealers price is about 1k above invoice. It depends on how competitive the market is in your area, but in a competitive market you should be able to get close to invoice. For reference, mine came in at $60,185.
If you're in the U.S. and live in an adjacent state to California, let me know and I can send you my Dealers name.
Also, FYI you have to attend the Driving event BEFORE you order.
Additionally make sure the quote includes MACO fee and training fee, and no other garbage fees.

sonic, I know you did well but I don't think most people could walk up to a dealership and try an order a LCI car (that has barely ramped up production) and expect to get invoice or lower. On a 2013 car, absolutely but not an LCI this early. My guess is your a very knowledgable buyer, who perhaps is a long time customer, and a great negotiator.

FWIW, I also got a great deal but only because BMW screwed up my 2013 order and had to price protect me to keep my deposit. Just trying to inject some realism here and it's only my opinion but my guess is some CA's would laugh at 8% off sticker on a car that is really yet to hit the states.

It depends on the market. In a market with little competition yes it's difficult, but I live in an area with about a dozen dealers within 50 miles of my house so its very competitive. The Dealer I went with is heavily involved in the BMW user community and is looking to push volume, so their pricing is very aggressive.
My price was more luck and timing than skill .
Buyers should E-mail the internet or fleet manager in every dealer in their area asking for their best price. You may be surprised at what you get. My 'worst' offer was $500 above invoice and I know from others who used him that he would have gone lower.

Sonic,
I appreciate your prompt response!
Unfortunately Im on East coast
On my very first lease request quote I got $3905 off right away, so not too far from invoice! l think a little bit more of work and will we get there.
As far as LCI model, it is all depends on the dealer and how aggressive he wants to be looks like it, any way so far so good! Will keep you posted

honestly I want everyone to get the best deal possible so I am happy everyone seems to be doing well. As in CA, BMW's sell like hotcakes in Florida but the difference may be there are only 3 dealers within 50 miles of my house. Perhaps it is time to apply for my franchise....

Trying to calculate the invoice on '14 535
Based MSRP is $55,100 than invoice is $50,692
6 spd manual
Total cost of options:
550 metallic paint
3150 m sport pack
2400 lux seating pack
1500 prem pack
1800 driver assis
575 shades
Total: $9,975 invoice is $9,077.25
$925 destination

So based on 92% of the base MSRP and plus 91% of MSRP for packages and options my invoice is
$50,692 + $9,077.25 + $925 = $60,694.25

Is it sounds right to you?

That lease deal seems pretty horrific. I know the MY14 is LCI, but I'm currently in the market for a MY13 5 series lease (still debating between the 528 x drive and 535 x drive for my wife). After calling a couple local dealers I can get into a 60K 535 for a little more then 600 a month with 1500 dollars down, tax included. BMW is known for their amazing lease deals and your dealership is pulling your leg.

This is just a comparison to the deal they offered you; There is a BMW dealership in Lincoln Nebraska that advertises routinely on ebay. I originally thought the place was a scam but for 800 dollars shipping fee to NY my buddy recently got a 650 x-drive grand coupe for under 1000 per month with tax, 1500 dollars down. The sticker on the car was in the mid to upper 90's. Just food for thought.

$928 was first quote I got, including taxes of 6.5% (4K+) but any way...
Allow me to ask you again: you were able to get 2014 535 with a sale price of ~$60K for a little more then 600 a month with 1500 dollars down, tax included!!!??? Can I please have a dealer names?

Its a MY13 not MY14 in Greenwich CT. Similar pricing at another local dealership. Sticker on the car was 62K . Tech, cold weather, premum Didn't see the complete discount price but this was talking with internet sales manager. Going for a test drive Saturday.

I agree that is a horrible lease deal ... for comparison my 2014 550xi - sticker $87,725 - negotiated price = $80,925 + $3000 BMW incentives - Net sales price $77,925 is coming in at $911/month lease w/ tax included. (15k/yr 36 months) $0.00 down ($7000 in MSDs for MF reduction)

I would really love to get into a 650xi Gran Coupe ... could you give me some more information on your friend's deal / dealership / how he went about this purchase?

Thank you all for your time and comments.
So what would you consider be a good deal for '14 535 with MSRP: $66K?
$0 down/36months/12k miles?

The "good deal" is what you negotiate in terms of MSRP v. Sales Price. The money factor and residual values are not negotiable ... however if you put down 7 months MSDs ... you are putting a "down-payment" to reduce the money factor (interest rate) ... but you will get 100% of the $$ back at the end of the lease (assuming you don't default on the lease) ... whereas a down-payment is just an up-front payment of the "rent" for the vehicle, and you get nothing back at the end of the term of the lease.

7 MSDs will result in a money factor of 0.00078 instead of 0.00127.

12k = 60% residual = $39600
MF = .00127 (without MSDs) 3.07%
36 month lease

MSRP = $66000
Sale Price = $60700
$1000 Ultimate Drive Coupon
Net Price = $59700
Tax = 6.5%
$0 down = $745/month
$1500 down = $705/month

$0 down w/o $1000 incentive = $775/month
$0 down w/o $1000 incentive = $730/month

It was BMW of Lincoln Nebraska. The advertise these crazy lease rate a few times a month on ebaymotors. Last month they had a 650 x-drive convertible, MSRP 101K. They were asking 999 no money down or 959 1500 down. They also had three 650 grand coupes, and 3 or 4 650 coupes. The lowest sticker price was a Space 650 x-drive coupe which was 899 a month 0 down!!! I originally saw their adds and was convinced they were com'ons/ complete FOS. My buddy actually made the call and the dealership was 100% legit. The car was shipped to his door and the only issues that he encountered were some out of state registration problems, which have since been resolved.

Great numbers! I just love it, but $5,300 off on LCI '14? Guess what, first thing twr morning will run those numbers thru my dealer, worst case scenario will walk away. will keep you posted!

I didn't check the math, but it looks correct. Don't forget $380 Maco and $180 training fees. Those two fees will be on the Dealers invoice as well as the $925 Destination which you've already included. Less scrupulous Dealers will quote a price without those fees then add them when you go in to finalize the deal, not to mention other garbage fees they try to throw in.

I wouldn't accept anything more! I have heavily shopped the 14 LCI myself before signing a contract at the same negotiated discount.

Please let us know how you do.

I have 3 dealers here in NJ that will do it at that rate:
Open Road BMW of Edison
BMW of Freehold
BMW of Bloomfield

I have also shopped BMW of Greenwich CT before, and they were competitive as well.

If you can't get what you want locally, call outside of your area ... from NJ to ATL, you shouldn't pay more than $800 to have the vehicle delivered. Just another thought. Or a 3rd option, opt for Performance Center Delivery ... ATL is only 2.5 hours drive to Spartanburg, SC, and it's free. Any dealer can place your order and process through BMW financial and allow for performance center delivery.
