Rod Bearing in N57 engine

Hello,

Planning to get a M50D in F15 or F16.
While the 530D 535D 550D all using the same N57 engine, is it common for the rod bearing failed? Anyone came across with it?

Can i do the same for my S65 engine with an engine oil analysis to detect any issue on rod bearing for this engine?

These engines typically have main bearing issues. However, bearing issues are usually just the symptom while injector failure (especially 35d and 50d piezo injectors) or oil pump failure is the cause.
