Yeah, I took it to stock map for emission testing lol and I was like wtf is this. 300hp is not enough for a car this heavy. But yeah ps2 is the best way to go... that 20psi is beast mode on highway. David said 600whp with port injection probably less for me due to AWD... Regardless, that seems enough power for me when I need it.

Sick!! congrats!! Without port i was limited to 20psi as well. Thats with the HPFP and LPFP. Got the motive installed but hoping MHD will hurry up and send the maps for the nostrum fuel injectors so i can install them and not have to use port. Tuning with port is a dam headache especially with tuner pro rt.

Funny I was thinking about buying draggy today. But right now I am going to spend money on labor for upgrading the ftp boost pipe and cold side pipe on intercooler.

Here is the ftp pipes I am about to get installed:

Left is all hot pipe (turbo to intercooler) and right long pipe is cold pipe from intercooler to charge pipe.

I am running custom az-mcracer inlet on the ps2... these will be just add-ons. Another person I know who has a n55 335i put these on and saw some improvements so I want to try it out as well. Plus these all going in with crank bolt capture from vtto, new serpentine belt, new idler pulleys, new alternator.

Finally got it all installed... gonna run another log probably tomorrow. I def feel better throttle response and car picks up a little better from dead stop. The stock turbo to intercooler pipe (hot) def. got restriction but I didn't see much to any difference on the intercooler to charge pipe (cold) beside that stock is plastic and ftp is metal.

2016 535 xdrive

Mods i already have: MPE, bootmod3 stage 1, vrsf chargepipe, upgraded air intake.

I want to know if i can install a big turbo and a intercooler and (maybe BM stage 2) without changing the stock cat? Would that config work? Any suggestions would work. I really don’t want the car any louder.

I would highly recommend NOT using a stock CAT since it restricts flow.

If you install a big turbo, that will require you to be stage 2. If you don't want to change your cat, don't upgrade the turbo!
