I texted him this weekend and going to drive down there next weekend to see how things are going. My stuff isn't his only project as well.
interested in this CF dip...how does it work and where are you getting your stuff done?

The problem with just the front is that you are then still running small single piston rear calipers. The M5 rears are 4 piston and the rotors are drilled and ten you have Brembo all around, which I think will perform better and at least look better.
The M5 has single piston rear calipers just like all other F10 models.

Tell you the truth, the weather has sucked recently in NJ and I don't have a garage to work In. My garage is full of 7 rollaways and other tools
Any updates here, please?

Got the Brakes back from paint FINALLY this past weekend. Everything has two coats of paint and 2-3 coats of Soft Clear Coat (same stuff put on bumpers). So nothing should chip now. Rear brakes were sanded smooth to match the Front Brakes in appearance. Rotors are sprayed and just enough metal sanded off so once the brakes start being applied, no rust ring will occur on these. ///M painted in OEM colors.

Dust shield for front painted in Black, again 2 coats paint and 2 coats clear with the soft rock absorbing clear. I only posted one set of brakes, but they all match and all the rotors match obviously.

Brake adapters are painted in Black too. So all of this should look sweet when looking between spokes of rims. Shooting for the next month or so to install. I need to dedicate a whole weekend for this and still need to order either OEM brake lines or after market stainless steel. Have not decided on that yet. Just need to sell the extra set of Calipers that I have for the front now. Only have 300 miles on them from a 2015 model.

Whoa those turned out Bada$$! glad you did the shield black and not blue! Did you paints the hats too or did they come black? So these are the M5 Brakes? I gotta go back and reread the thread to catch up in things since you made us wait 10 years man they turned out really good!

BTW that's a floating rotor correct? Besides removing the calipers is it just a set screw holding the rotor in place? I ask because like I mentioned before I still have to paint my calipers and I wanted to paint the hats and the shield gloss black but I thought it would be cleaner if I just removed everything

I THINK Rheingold has same stuff as TIS? Can be downloaded if you look around (Check coding forums).
I can try to check this evening in Rheingold to see what it has for M5 brakes

Mike, here are some screenshots I just took of Rheingold for an M5 front brake.
I have never used the TIS service, so not sure how it compares.
If you want me to check something specific let me know and I will see what I can find.

As soon as the weather gets warmer I WILL have the answer. Going to run the stock 550 Brake master cylinder and see how everything works. Others have used the 550 master with no issues.

Thank you for confirming that. I have done much research and all real OEM research shows cross compatible master on these but I was a little hesitant till confirmed. Now I can put this project on deck
