What is the part number for this? Also anyone know how to replace it?

This is called the windshield cowl cover. Looks like the part number is 51717203124.

Common thing to replace on BMWs. There are dozens of how-to videos on YouTube.

It's an upper cowl. I had mine changed at my body shop and it was $70 and they charged me $15 bucks for labor. Apparently a common for BMW's

DAMN! does this only happen for those living in really hot climates or could it happen in any climate cause mine's a 2011 and still looks pretty damn new!

Probably. Also probably cheap rubber. It's hot and sun is harsh year round.

Or the rubber was never treated. I use 303 Aerospace Protectant on all the exterior rubber parts.
