pick one13 vs 15 535i

Both cars are black black m sport rwd.
comfort seats HUD etc
16 has vent seats
13 has BO radio plus Dynamic Dampers that j prefer over passive m sport suspension

13 52k miles 20k
super clean inside and out

16 35k miles 29k
warranty until 4 2020

I get $400 a month through my sales job so i keep my payment right about that. So I finance just about the full car so my payments are about 400 a month. the 13 on a 5 year loan is 380 a month. The 16 is 410 a month on y year loan.

initially I was going for the 13 but for a few bucks a month I get the newer 16.

I am leaning toward the 16 since I have no repairs for a year plus the car will be much nicer 3 years newer. even though the cost is higher.

Any opinions? thanks.

Three years and 17K miles newer. No brainer. This coming from a 2013 driver who absolutely loves the car.

I should have added: on the 16 I'll put $2500 dp to keep my payment at $400 a month.

Get the 16. For the price difference. And LCI upgrades 16. I have 13 and love it, but if I had a 16 to get with same color and package I would have shelled out the extra $ for it. IMHO.

16 LCI definitely. Vented seats yes.
13 Dynamic suspension sounds great but I'd want an extended warranty in case it fails. Big $$ repair.

I did pull the trigger on a 16 535i m sport, lux seats, driv assist, heat seats, and other goodies. 32k miles cpo till jan 21. new tires. excellent condition.

If I went with the 13 then I would have to add $3k for warranty. So I'm then at $23k, plus a set of tires so $24k. Then the risk of repairs if the warranty didnt cover it.

So bottom line: I had to commit to $30k towards the car vs. $24k. But my total cost per month should be around the same. Plus the 16 is newer etc.

So after analysis the 16 may actually end up costing a bit less overall. Total cost during ownership divided by months owned. That's how I figure my monthly TCO when I buy a car, not purchase price or payment.

I'll be shipping this week. Thanks for the help.
