Condensation in headlight housing f10

So, my 2011 535i has some pretty bad condensation buildup in the right headlight. I'm planning on removing the lens and resealing it with silicone. Normally I would just stick it in the oven on the lowest setting for about a half hour so the adhesive is easy to remove but I'm not sure how sensitive the auto leveling components inside the housing are to heat. Is this the best way I should remove my lenses from the housings or is this going to damage anything? Any better ways to do this? Is silicone the right way to go when resealing them for an air tight seal? Honestly just nervous about messing anything up because of the price tag on replacement housings. Any and all info on this topic would be more than greatly appreciated, thanks again!
