Yeah the four men responsible were caught and jailed, some of the trophies were recovered from a lake in Sandhurst. Nasty lot of burglars responsible for many thefts and burglaries including from Merc World in Weybridge.

I really don't understand a the Checo hate... dude either led, or was in second place for almost the entire race, and his fastest lap time was only 0.4 seconds slower than Max's, and Max is clearly on another level. He had 2 hydroplane incidents that cost him 2 places, yes, that sucked, but he wasn't alone in the hydroplane incidents and managed to come out from them unscathed, unlike others. RB really lucked out that their attempt to put Checo on full wets under a safety car when it was clearly going to be a red flag didn't backfire. I dunno if that was Checo's call, or RB's, but it wasn't a good one.

MAX is groping with his foot to get the optimal feel and contact between his foot and the pedal .
In other words : MAX wants to be 'one with his pedal .

Checo's lap times were not consistently..
MAX gained 8 sec. in 3 laps to Checo ! 8 sec. in F1 terms , that is a sea of time !
At a short track like Zandvoort and in the same car , that's unseen ...
We/I don't hate the Mexican ...

But Max gained that time on the entire grid, not just Checo... The big discrepancy was right after switching back to slicks, and Max is clearly more confident in the car in those conditions. Checo maintained his lead over the rest of the field, until he hydroplaned off track.

He catches flack because of how damn good Max is, but I don't think anyone else could do much better. Max has the right combination of skill and fearlessness that no other driver has right now. The older skilled drivers have more fear and aren't pushing the limits as hard, and othet younger drivers with fearlessness don't have the skill or car. I guess we'll see more next year when AT is in the RB19

Much? He never challenged Checo, constantly sitting behind him by a good margin, about the same margin between Checo and Max. Checo had to spin off into the wall. Then he was on Alonso's tail for the rest of the race, honestly I'm surprised he didn't get the opportunity to pass, tires were probably shot.

Alonso had a great race, but Checo was running better for most of it. Where would Alonso be if he were in a RB is an interesting thought though....

Apparently Liam has never driven a F1 car before FP3, never driven an F1 car in the rain, and the first time he drove on slicks was the race start.

Good question and ALO would be doing better just based on Helmut's opinion alone.

AT will be renamed next year maybe with a Boss heading. Gasly and Tsunoda will have the RB19 and must be excited at that prospect.

Lawson finished up 13th which isn't bad at all and in front of Yuki.

This is (actually)! a penalty !

And Checo was hitting the pitwall in the pitlane ...
As he was facing the direction where he entered the slip road the stewards let it go as if he got stuck trying to go the other way it would cause another yellow.
Looking back at Suzuka '89 Senna was penalised by Balestre when he rejoined the track wrongly through a slip road dodging obstacles instead of doing a doughnut turn there and rejoining the track also for receiving outside assistance with a bump start watched by Prost who then told Balestre hence Senna was penalised to the disgust of McLaren and fans but simply rules were carried out then.

Checo then aquaplaned and skimmed the wall going quicker than the pit road speed limit over the target line hence with the delay in the pit losing 3rd place to Gasly but its only 3 points which is nothing to RB's overall points lead and a very happy Gasly which I'm actually glad about.

Checo was very happy with the "RED FLAG" situation ..

Checo was actually "DNF" !

Gasly leaving Alpine? Thought he was under contract for next year. I'm guessing they may stick with Ric for next year, as long as he can perform when he gets his hand/wrist all healed up. He showed great pace in the RB19 after Silverstone.

Sorry that's a typo from me, Gasly in Alpine well spotted. Tsunoda and Ricciardo should be driving the remamed alpha tauri next year in the RB19.
