Spamming fault codes when rolling
Hi! A couple of days ago my car suddenly started slamming the dash with fault codes "Transmission fault" and "Parking brake only working partially". Those two come up constantly. I sometimes but rarely got "Camera support system malfunction", "Brake system failure", "Restraint system failure" and "Electronic steering failure"
This happened out of nowhere on my way home and me having over an hour home tried to see the cause and came to find that when I let off the gas and just roll, especially down an incline, it happens almost instantly. Note that when I drive normally with constant gas, nothing happens at all, and the car runs perfectly without anything noticable happening. Shifts well and throttle is normal. Only when rolling without throttle is when it goes crazy, beeping multiple times then going away and again etc. Anybody have any idea as to what's going on? I read out at most 79 fault codes in BimmerCode! Not one was about transmission, alot was about CAN and EGS not reading/communicating if I remember correctly. |
