Tuned N63tu Super Knocking Codes
Hello everyone,
My first post here will be a negative one, hah. My '15 550i, with DudMd tune, downpipes, NGK plugs gapped to 0.022; started giving me some hesitation at higher rpms when going WOT, it got worse (with no CEL or DT malfunction), so I pulled the codes and came back with super-knocking on cylinders 1, 2, 3, 4, 5! Ignition coils are new, plugs are new, mafs are new, fuel rail pressure seems to reaching 2900psi without issue. Idle surges SLIGHTLY, barely noticeable, which seemed to be fixed with mafs, then came back. My theory is that injectors are leaking down a bit. I don't believe it's an octane issue, seeing as it got worse over time. I'm running 93. I need to check AFRs again to see if my theory holds true.
