My edc bypass went out and now I need to code the edc. Where did you guys buy your enet cable from and Shawn could you send me the esys prog.. quick question I should be able to use it on a Mac pro correct? Thanks in advance

Coding out EDC on the BMW F10 is possible.

I have successfully installed Megan Coilovers and personally coded out EDC through ESYS.

My 550 is equipped with Adaptive Drive, Dynamic Drive, and Dynamic Damper Control(EDC)

I simply VO coded out 2VA, 229, and 223 of my FA
Calculated FA
Wrote the FA to the car
Coded the following ECU's:
DSC
HU_CIC
KOMBI
ICM

Errors are now gone, I lost the option of "Comfort" mode but Normal, Sport, and Sport+ are there and functional.

Thanks to @roskinc for letting me know that he coded EDC out of his vehicle as well.

So i did this as follows but the 2011 550i manual trans will not let me select sport or sport +. i have no errors on the dash. i managed to get sport mode to work but i would have a parking brake reduced code on. i recoded and that went away but back to not being able to select sport or sport +. Any idea as to why? thank you

Sorry to bring this back up, but I did the same thing and still see errors pop up. When pulling codes I see issues in ICM_V, ICM_QL, and K (dampening satellite x 4). How did you all code those out?
