Here comes the noobie question. Are these just oem replacements? Also, would it be an issue if I'm replacing the front struts only? Vs replacing front and rears?

Oh how I wish Bilstein made these B8s for my car. Honestly this is a must have if you've got lowering springs - this is what the B8s are made for. I cringe when I see folks running stock struts/shocks on their lowered ride.

Worth mentioning that these do not work on xDrive models. GLWS

Sorry not hijacking your thread, but these will ABSOLUTELY NOT work on xDrive models. I'm sorry but you shouldn't be stating false information. Bilstein NEVER made aftermarket F10 xDrive compatible front struts (only the OE BMW-branded struts).

It doesn't take much to see from the pic alongside the KW xDrive struts that it's virtually impossible to install these on xDrive cars.

Lol. You sure are really trying hard to offload these onto unsuspecting members whether they will work on their car or not.

I have no clue what the link you included is suppose to demonstrate except that I had done my research and I'm right. There are ZERO xDrive compatible Bilstein front struts. Why, because Bilstein never made them for the F10/F12/etc.

And as for the picture I included, coilover or not, it was just just suppose to demonstrate that the bottom fork design between the xDrive struts and RWD are completely different. The bigger fork on the xDrive is needed to clear the driveshaft.

BTW, I wonder why you deleted the original pics of the struts you're selling. Strange.

I just went on bimmerworld and the only Bilstein struts available for xDrive 5 and 6 series cars is for the rear, no fronts. There's just no way the "short" fork design fits over the front axle, which is why it has that funky curved design on the xDrive struts. Bilstein's own site only has 3 products for the xDrive cars:

https://www.bilstein.com/us/en/produ...84737910050271

B4 OE replacement front and rear, and a B6 rear shock. That's it.

Coilover and a strut system? Huh? The bilstein struts are still a coilover system, the coil goes over the strut. See below for the OE comparison.

You're straight up wrong about the fitment of these struts, showtime. They do not fit xDrive cars, do not, unintentionally or otherwise, mislead forum members. Forum trading is built on trust

Dude u need to correct your post. One set of front struts will not fit all 5/6 series models. There are a few other members who pointed this out already. X drive has an axel that struts need to go around.
