Thanks for posting...I am very glad I chose the Oyster headliner to go with my oyster/black dakota leather interior, the anthracite headliner looks like a dark cloud, too dark and your eye is just drawn to it too much IMO.

Im partial to the oyster interior, having sat in a 5GT with this color I can safely say it fits the new interior style perfectly.

I think that the Oyster/Black with the Oyster headliner looks clumsy with the black lower B Pillar that transitions to Oyster upper B Pillar. I believe that the anthracite headliner would look best with Oyster/Black interior.

I have the anthracite headliner on my E60 and I like it a lot. The darkness of it is not problematic.

Just so everyone understands what Pharding is talking about, the B-Pillar is Oyster:

and the section below the B-Pillar is black:

Not sure I agree that it looks clumsy, but that is obviously a matter of personal opinion.

Oyster/black is a great looking combination but a word of warning, it gets extremely grubby very quickly and requires cleaning with an old toothbrush to get into the grain of the leather.

If you like to wear jeans, have kids or pets then steer clear.

Personally I think this exterior colour will still look stunning with cinnamon brown.

+1...looks like maintainability might be an issue...

The Anthracite Headliner is a must with Oyster/Black. I had it with Natural Brown on the E60 and it was awesome.

I usually have all black interiors...they're safe, but perhaps a bit boring..so I thought oyster/black...having the benefits of dark carpets, so reducing the signs of dirty shoes, but light seats giving the interior a brighter feel...additionally I understand the head lining will be oyster..so no clash..

Any got any thoughts...real pictures of this combo would be appreciated..

Thanks.. and Happy Easter.

Why not have everest gray? Somewhat unique, lighter color that will not get as dirty as oyster.

I agree - which is why on my GT I opted for the cinnamon brown - which I wish came with an anthracite/black headliner.

Ironically enough, most of the inital production run of GT's, at least in the South Florida region where delivered to the local dealerships with either black or black sapphire cars with Oyster Nappa or Oyster Dakota leather. I don't think the dealers spec'd the cars this way, simply a factor of how the factory shipped the cars.

I wonder if it will be the same case for the F10 sedans

Of the half-dozen or so GT's I've seen in NJ, one was Imperial Blue / Black. All of the others were Black Sapphire / Oyster Nappa.
