Vogtland Sport lowering springs - review and before and after pictures

So I took a chance on these. Everyone in different communities that has these on their vehicles love the brand. So I took a chance. AND, I love them. The ride is a little bit stiffer but not harsh at all whatsoever. Turn in is much sharper and body roll is nearly gone. At least massively reduced. Before and after measurements is approximately 1.25 inch all the way around. Maybe more like 1.1 in the rear. But it looks good because the front was already a little bit higher. I was extremely nervous putting these on because I would rather keep it stock or wait and save for some KW coil overs then to have my car be lower and ride like shit or bounce. I have never tried any other springs on this platform, but it's massively improved overstock in the handling department, and it's really only a tiny bit stiffer which I actually like because it eliminated that pillowy soft feel. Again, no jarring harshness or bouncing us at all. Just a nice tight supple suspension. Extremely pleased. The first three picks are before. The rest are after.

Looks good. With any springs, its going to take about a week or two for them to settle in. After that, thats when you'll have your final set up.

PS dont forget to an alignment about 3-4 weeks after lowering it.

Looks great! I went with H&R's and I'm happy with them as well. I think the key to having success with lowering springs is making sure your dampers are in good shape. If they're already worn out you're not gonna have a good time, but my car had 30k miles when I put mine on, FL owned its whole life rarely sees a road rougher than an airstrip and I love the ride mine gives!

i will post some more pics in a few weeks just to document any settling or change in ride, but i am very happy with these. the handling is immensely improved with the only "down side" if you like this kind of thing, is the loss of that pillowy, floating feel. it now feels tight and planted with body roll nearly eliminated in comparison to OEM levels. turn in is sharp with minimal if any dive. i haven't done any extremely aggressive driving but driving in a spirited manner it is extremely improved over stock. yet, not harsh at all. soaks up the choppy bumps very well.

This seems like ideal deal for high mileage cars like mine:
