These should fit without needing an M5 diffuser. Great deal for the comp mufflers!!

Always wondered what determined if you need the m5 diffuser when upgrading to m5/6 mufflers?

I'm guessing is just to complete the look.

No I mean when can you reuse a non-m5 (m-sport) diffuser vs needing the m5 diffuser. I was under impression m-sport or not the m5 diffuser was always required.

Reason the m6 mufflers are a better fit for f10 is the exhaust tips from an M6 muffler are oriented more outwards, where as the m5 muffler tips are oriented/angled towards the center of the car. This is true if you are using the stock hangers/brackets. Of course any decent exhaust shop will be able to adjust and fit the m5 mufflers on stock f10 diffuser but the m6 ones won't need much change at all. I've attached below the side my side comparison (left is m6, right is m5, as well as the m6 setup installed on my car)

Yes, all F10. Just that they need to figure out how to control the flap since 535i does not come with the flap controller exhaust
