Gotch ya. Pagid it is then.

X5M OEM front brake system
Rear are aftermarket from oreilly and ceramic pads.

Not as bad on the dust
But boyyyyy do they stop. Initial bite is ridiculous, very touchy. Wakes me up in the morning of the first drive of the day lol.

I just replaced both front and rear rotors and pads plus sensors. Went with ATE 2 piece rotors and Brembo pads, replaced retaining springs too, using pagid parts. Rear rotors had worn from 20mm to 18.25mm and fronts from 24mm to 21.20mm (below minimum spec). Car had done 78300 miles.

Retrofit M5/M6 6piston brembo to my 550iM but it's not going well, rotors is warped after less than 10K

wonder if TRONIK bracket kit is legit or if he did the right measuring for the kit!

Hello folks!
Has anybody tried new line of TRW Ultra Pads?
Just curious if they are actually close to textar epad?
Very reasonably priced..

I'm running them. I like them. Anything specific you want to know?

Oh nice!
How is the feel/bite relative to the original/textar/akebono pads(whatever you had before)?
FCP seems to be excited about this new line of TRW pads. They say the cold bite is better than Akebono, yet still low dust. I was debating between original BMW or Textar epad(which could be the same thing). But TRW seems to be half price!

I can barely tell a difference between the OEM pad cold bite and the TRW. The pedal definitely is firmer though. TRW makes these bespoke for FCP I believe. They're good pads, can't go wrong with them.

May I ask you which pads did you have before? Just curious...

No issues at all. They're maybe a tad sqeaky when cold but that's not a problem for me. I did not use loctite as I replaced the bolts, but you can use it if you thread chase or clean off the old loctite.

Brembo rotors are expensive but really good. They're OE without BMW logo after all. I'm very happy with them.

Brembo NAO Ceramic pads are a dud. Good stopping power and no squealing, but produce insane amount of brake dust. INSANE! Stay away.I also don't like that they have a red back plate, especially with painted calipers.

I'm now switching over to Power Stop Z23 pads for the fronts and back. Seem very popular with the M5 crowd and have good reviews. I'll report back after installation and break-in period.
