Alternator Replacement

Evening guys, I've recently replaced my alternator (2013 - 520D F11).

Its now throwing a code on Bimmerlink:

2A1300 Generator (Layer_ISGGENUP) Incorrect generator type or controller Installed.

Original was a Valeo S10AN13 replaced with an Autoelectro AEK3399.

Also have a Central Gateway code: 801C20

Any help appreciated.

The code 801C20 seems to indicate that the fault memory is full on the gateway module. Are you able to clear the codes you have and re-read?

Do you have ISTA - which will enable reading and clearing of codes as well as advising of a test plan?
