Sporadic resistance in steering feel - '14 F10

This last week I've started to notice an odd resistance in my steering when taking turns, particularly at low to moderate speeds. It starts at center but lasts only briefly into the turn. For instance, I feel it when turning left from 12 to 10 o'clock or 12 to 2 o'clock but then it stops (if that makes sense). Totally new sensation and it's not consistent.

Any ideas??

commenting to hear follow ups, my car has done the same. I feel a slight resistance on right turns from the 2-3 position, if I steer just a tad either way it goes away. also mine isn't consistent happens maybe 1 out of 20 times on sweeping right corners

I feel as though mine has done it as well but figured it was just something road related or I was possibly being overly sensitive. Cpo for another three months, might have to replace steering rack if it continues.

I am experiencing the same by the sound of it. I took my car to my local dealer for a check and they didn't find anything wrong. I changed tires and it is definitely better but still isn't fixed. Did you guys figure out what was / is wrong?

Charter23 and F10535 - do you have the electric or hydraulic steering? Apparently if you have dynamic drive (Adaptive drive) you have a hydraulic steering. I have dynamic drive so hydraulic steering in my car.

For some reason if I change the configuration for Sport mode under: Settings-Drive mode, to only apply to chassis it helps minimize the problem even in comfort mode!! So maybe some software error??? Maybe try this to see whether it also helps with your problem.
