At this point, as soon as I can afford the Wagner, I'm going for it. Definitely not waiting on VRSF anymore.
yea.. I too was waiting for over a year... and I just ended up getting the wagner

Yea he had told me 2-3 weeks over a month ago then I asked again and he said 30 more days at least. And you guys have been waiting longer than that. Not cool customer service communication...I’m going to wait until after winter anyways, otherwise I would’ve given up and bought Wagner

Maybe Tiago should chime in here or make a public thread! So it is not just a bunch of random people saying He told me this many weeks. Anyone who can contact him and let him know.

It allows the Air charge to be cooled lower so you can get more power. the stock IC can be heat soaked quickly after 1-2 pulls. I live in FL where it is 94 degrees on a normal basis so my IAT's are super high.

Agreed, at this point, VRSF / Tiago should just tell us it's not going to be available any time soon. I have been waiting patiently since July and I too feel like we're being strung along.

I'll be buying from Wagner in January.

They were on their 3rd endtank revision two months ago, and I have heard from pre-orders starting next week to everything else since then...What i really don't understand is that they have been on this intercooler for about a year, and still can't give a definitive date on the release.

If it wasn't for such a good price point I don't think half of us would be waiting for it. But even then I am to the point where I am about to pull the plug for the Wagner unit.

I been checking out f10 coolers and found something interesting. especially for N55 owners.

It seems like the 535d is slightly larger than the 535i cooler.
535d - Part number: 17517812016 - Dimensions = 550x172x80
535i - Part number: 17517577115 - Dimensions = 550x155x80

Making the 535d cooler 17mm taller than the 535i cooler. It might serve as a cheaper alternative with minimum gain. Still not sure if it will be worth the effort lol.

That's an awesome find. Are you willing to put your theory to test? :P

$900 is highway robbery!! Only reason Wagner can get away with it is they are the only one in the market. I guarantee if there is a cheaper option it will sell well. So many can benefit from a bigger IC.

They offer their EVO II Competition for $900 for the E9x and F3x and there are a bunch of competitors.
EVO II Competition are top sellers for these cars as well.

Wagner intercoolers are expensive because they are high quality + they are the only tube and fin cores on the market, everyone else produce bar and plate cores instead.

Who paid $900. Its a little bit more than that but if you know the right people you can get it for less. Speak to Mike from X-PH. Hell give you a great price. Or you can keep waiting YEARS AND YEARS for the VRSF
