Turanza Tires for 2015 528I MSport?

I'm looking to buy a 2015 528i MSport and it looks like the deale put on some Turanza ER300 275//40R18 99y Tires on it. Has anyone ever heard of these tires or know anything about them? The car only has 24000 miles on it, yet the tires had to be replaced. Makes me wonder if there was an alignment problem or something. What were OEM tires? Continental? How do they compare?

BTW, here's a a look at the tires and the rusty looking brake calipers and rotors. The vehicle was parked near the ocean.

Thanks!

AFAIK the stock tires are Pirelli, Michelin and Goodyear. If there is a star on the sidewall of the tire then it is an "approved" tire for the car. I installed DriveGuard's on my wife's 535i and I am quite happy with them!

I wouldn't be concerned at all about the dealer installing new tires.

Thanks for the heads up! I was only concerned because the vehicle only had 24k miles on it and they swapped out the tires. That's not a lot of miles. I was concerned there might be an alignment problem or something. That's also one of the reasons he said he was holding firm on the price. I told him that good tires on a vehicle are normally standard and are not traditionally used as an excuse for a higher price.

Thanks!

Yup, salt will do that. Easy enough to repair or replace.

Those Bridgestones are of good quality. I've owned a few sets on past vehicles. A great A/S tire.
