Hi people.
I'd like to start by saying I have done a search on the forum for my question, but with no result

I want to install a factory HUD in my 2013 F10. I have found one on eBay for a good price

Has anyone else done this? Other than the unit itself, what else will I need, or is the HUD standalone? Yes, I realise my non-HUD windscreen will create a ghost image, but one thing at a time

You'll also need a new dashboard, the on/off switch (above the cubby left of the steering wheel) & coding, at the least.

I’ve done this previously. To do it properly, you will need the following:

Trim
Dash - cut yours if you are skilled
Windshield
HUD
Rain Sensor - so it can adjust brightness
Wire Harness
Driver Assistance Button
Instrument Cluster
