530d liqui moly top tech 4100

I am planning to DIY oil change on my lci 530d with 27k km's. as the dealer charges 400 pounds here in my country. do you guys recommend top tech 4100?

That car would usually take 5W30 in the Europe, but I'm genuinely not sure if the India spec cars are different. The Top Tech 4100 is 5W40. But it is BMW LL04 rated, which is important. Establish which grade oil your car needs first.

5w40 or 10w40 is probably a good move for India.

5w30 wouldn't be ideal for India because of the temps.

5w30 is only good up to around 35ºc where as 40 is good up to around 40ºc.

I would think 5w40 or 10w50 is needed that far south.

The problem is the Long life 04 specification oil is hardly available in my side of the country other than the dealership. I feel a lot more oils have VW group approved here. unfortunately not the case with BMW LL04. this particular liqui molly is available on Amazon India at a decent price. the service is due in 3000kms as of today which is why I am taking time to decide.
